Without a doubt social media has become a huge factor when it comes to online marketing as it is a relatively easy way of getting in touch and communicating with potential customers and/or readers. Social media is also a great way to promote your website, BUT, it’s not always easy to track that footprint across multiple platforms in one spot.
Enter Soro (Social Robot)
Soro, short for Social Robot is new, free online service developed by iMod Digital. The main reason I am singling out Social Robot from the hundreds of other social tracking systems out there is because of its simplicity. As a web designer and an avid user of technology I am no stranger to overly complicated systems, but I do like it when a simple question is answered with a simple solution.
Social Robot answers the question “How can I monitor my websites’ Social Footprints?” And in the simplest way possible that is exactly what Social Robot does. It tracks your social footprint.
Here is a section from their “About” Section;
Soro is a very simple yet highly useful web application that allows you to track the social footprint of your website(s). By entering in website addresses.
Soro will keep track of your previous statistics allowing you to gauge the progress each site is making. With Soro you’ll save hours of time and enjoy having everything in one convenient place.
Social Robot is still in the beginning stages and currently only track on Facebook, Twitter, Digg and LinkedIn and they hope to expand to Pinterest, Google Plus and other social networking platforms as well.
They are also planning the following additional enhancements to the service;
- Line Graphs
- Additional Social Sites
Using the Social Robot service is completely free and I would most certainly recommend it to any web site owner, online marketer and SEO experts.
